The ARC15 Arc Flash Suit from Oberon is designed to provide protection from arc flash heat exposures. The suit exceeds the requirements of NFPA 70E Hazard Risk Category 2* (HRC2*), up to 24 cal/cm². Oberon's ARC15 suit is manufactured with 55% inherently FR modacrylic, and 45% cotton.
Coats and coveralls feature Nomex sleeve cuffs and double front closures with FR zipper tape and Dupont Nomex Velcro safety flap. Bib overalls include FRT suspenders and an expandable pleat at the waist for adjustable fir and comfort. Bib overalls and the coveralls feature wide pant legs that are easy to slide on or off.
The Arc Flash hood is manufactured with Oberon ArcX™. The 15 cal/cm2 Arc flash Hood has a visible light transmission of approximately 60%, which is also know as (VLT).
ARC Flash Kit comes complete with 15 Cal Hood with Air System, flash jacket and pair or flash pants (or coveralls), helmet, safety glasses, and orange flash kit bag.
