Advanced Non Contact High Voltage Detector
The operation of any voltage detector needs to be verified before use to be sure that the detection circuit, battery, light, and buzzer are all operating properly. Immediately after checking a line or piece of equipment, the detector should be verified once again. This will reassure the worker that the device is still functioning properly and the evaluation of the line or equipment is accurate.
An extra circuit generates an electric field that is sensed by the unit the same as it does when checking for voltage. The detector responds by flashing the light and sounding the buzzer each time this occurs. The result is an intermittent flash and beep whenever the selector switch is set to any voltage position.
No more checking against known voltage sources, truck ignitions, or separate field generating devices. You get automatic verification with each use and because of the flash and beep when the unit is turned on it will automatically remind the user to it off before storage maximizing battery life.![]()
Automatic Self Testing.
Used to verify live or de-energized conductors prior to performing electrical work.Special adapter Included allows use with shotgun-style hotsticks.Tester is moved progressively closer to conductor or apparatus until warning of voltage is indicated or until it touches conductor, apparatus, or test point.Audio and visual indicator. For use with rubber insulating gloves and universal-spline hotsticks.
